
Kale Sausage Soup – Crockpot Meal
An incredible recipe for the crockpot.
Ingredients
- 2-3 quarts organic vegetable broth, or free range chicken broth
- 4 chicken sausages
- 2-3 parsnips
- 2 carrots
- 1 medium sweet potato
- ½ onion – yellow or white
- 3 cups of kale, shredded
- ½ teaspoon of sea salt, more to taste
- 1 teaspoon of cumin, oregano, pepper, turmeric, cayenne pepper, rosemary, basil and other seasonings to taste
- Add broth and seasonings to crockpot
Instructions
Makes 4-6 servings
- Dice vegetables, add to crockpot
- Lightly brown diced sausage in skillet, then add to crockpot
- Cook on low for 6-8 hours
